यीशु की भाषा

यीशु आपके जीवन के ऊपर क्या बोल रहे हैं?

हमारे जीवन के ऊपर बहुत-सी आवाज़ें बोलती रहती हैं। हमारे अतीत की आवाज़। हमारी असफलताओं की आवाज़। लोगों की आवाज़। डर की आवाज़। वह आवाज़ जो बार-बार कहती है— “तुम योग्य नहीं हो।”

वह आवाज़ जो हमें बार-बार याद दिलाती है कि हमने कहाँ गलती की, कहाँ हम असफल हुए और कहाँ हमसे चूक हुई। और कई बार, हमें पता भी नहीं चलता कि हम धीरे-धीरे उसी भाषा के अनुसार जीने लगते हैं, जिसे हम सबसे अधिक सुनते हैं।

लेकिन इब्रानियों की पुस्तक हमें एक और भाषा से परिचित कराती है। पुत्र की भाषा। यीशु की भाषा

इब्रानियों की शुरुआत इन सामर्थी शब्दों से होती है:

“इन अन्तिम दिनों में हम से पुत्र के द्वारा बातें की…”
— इब्रानियों 1:2

परमेश्वर ने बात की है। और परमेश्वर ने अपने आपको सबसे पूर्ण रीति से अपने पुत्र—यीशु मसीह—में प्रकट किया है।

यीशु केवल परमेश्वर का एक संदेश लेकर नहीं आए। यीशु स्वयं हमारे लिए परमेश्वर का प्रकट किया हुआ संदेश हैं। उनका जीवन बोलता है। उनका क्रूस बोलता है। उनका पुनरुत्थान बोलता है। पिता के दाहिने हाथ पर उनका बैठना बोलता है। उनका महायाजक होना बोलता है। और इब्रानियों 12:24 हमें बताता है— उनका लहू आज भी बोलता है।

इसलिए प्रश्न केवल यह नहीं है— “मैं अपने बारे में क्या कह रहा हूँ?”

इससे भी बड़ा प्रश्न है— “यीशु मेरे विषय में क्या कह रहे हैं?”

पुत्र की पहली भाषा: तुम शुद्ध किए गए हो

इब्रानियों की पुस्तक यीशु का परिचय एक ऐसे कार्य से कराती है जो पहले ही पूरा हो चुका है।

“वह पापों को धोकर ऊँचे स्थानों पर महामहिम के दाहिने जा बैठा।”
— इब्रानियों 1:3

इन शब्दों पर ध्यान दीजिए। उन्होंने शुद्ध करने का कार्य केवल आरंभ नहीं किया। उन्होंने यह नहीं कहा कि वे हमें शुद्ध करने की कोशिश करेंगे। उन्होंने काम को अधूरा नहीं छोड़ा। उन्होंने पापों की शुद्धि का कार्य पूरा किया। और फिर— वे बैठ गए।

पुरानी वाचा में याजकों का काम लगातार चलता रहता था, क्योंकि बलिदान बार-बार चढ़ाए जाते थे। लेकिन यीशु ने स्वयं को बलिदान कर दिया। एक बार। सदा के लिए। और फिर वे बैठ गए। सिंहासन पर बैठे हुए मसीह हमें एक पूर्ण किए गए कार्य की तस्वीर दिखाते हैं। हो सकता है कि आज भी आप अपने पाप की भाषा बोल रहे हों। लेकिन यीशु आपके ऊपर शुद्धता की भाषा बोल रहे हैं।

आप कहते हैं— “देखो, मैंने क्या किया है।”

यीशु कहते हैं— “देखो, मैंने तुम्हारे लिए क्या किया है।”

आप कहते हैं— “मैं दाग़दार हूँ।”

उनका लहू कहता है— “तुम शुद्ध किए गए हो।”

यीशु की भाषा आपके प्रदर्शन से शुरू नहीं होती। वह शुरू होती है— उनके पूरे किए हुए कार्य से।

यीशु की भाषा कहती है: मेरे पास आओ

पाप ने दूरी पैदा की थी। लेकिन यीशु ने उस दूरी को मिटा दिया।

इब्रानियों हमें बताता है:

“सो हे भाइयो, जब कि हमें यीशु के लहू के द्वारा उस नए और जीवते मार्ग से पवित्र स्थान में प्रवेश करने का साहस हो गया है…”
— इब्रानियों 10:19

इन शब्दों के बारे में सोचिए। प्रवेश करने का साहस। जिस स्थान में मनुष्य स्वतंत्रता से प्रवेश नहीं कर सकता था, वह अब यीशु के द्वारा खोल दिया गया है। परदा हट गया। रास्ता खुल गया। लहू बहाया गया। और अब यीशु की भाषा यह नहीं है— “दूर रहो।”

उनकी भाषा है— “मेरे पास आओ।”

इब्रानियों 4:16 कहता है:

“इसलिए आओ, हम अनुग्रह के सिंहासन के निकट हियाव बाँधकर चलें…”

डरते हुए नहीं। छिपते हुए नहीं। यह सोचते हुए नहीं कि परमेश्वर हमें स्वीकार करेंगे या नहीं। पूरे साहस के साथ।

क्यों? क्योंकि हमारा भरोसा इस बात पर नहीं है कि आज हमने कितना अच्छा किया। हमारा भरोसा इस बात पर है कि— हमारा महायाजक कौन है।

यीशु ने हमारे लिए एक नया और जीवता मार्ग खोल दिया है। उनके द्वारा हमें पिता के पास आने का अधिकार मिला है।

धर्म की भाषा कहती है— “कुछ और करो, शायद तब तुम परमेश्वर के पास आ सकोगे।”

यीशु की भाषा कहती है—“मैंने सब कुछ कर दिया है। अब मेरे पास आओ।”

यीशु की भाषा कहती है: मुझे तुम्हें अपना कहने में शर्म नहीं

कई लोग मानते हैं कि यीशु ने उन्हें क्षमा तो कर दिया है, लेकिन शायद आज भी वे उनसे निराश हैं। लेकिन इब्रानियों एक अद्भुत सत्य प्रकट करता है।

“वह उन्हें भाई कहने से नहीं लजाता।”
— इब्रानियों 2:11

इसे फिर से पढ़िए। उन्हें आपको अपना कहने में शर्म नहीं है। महिमा के सिंहासन पर बैठा हुआ यीशु आपको अपना परिवार कहता है। वह आपको केवल सहन नहीं कर रहा। उसने स्वयं को आपके साथ जोड़ा है। वह आपको अपना कहता है।

लज्जा कहती है— “छिप जाओ।”

यीशु कहते हैं— “तुम मेरे हो।”

लज्जा कहती है— “परमेश्वर तुम्हारे जैसे व्यक्ति को अपना नहीं कह सकते।”

यीशु कहते हैं— “मुझे तुम्हें अपना कहने में शर्म नहीं।”

यही है— पुत्र की भाषा।

यीशु की भाषा कहती है: मैं तुम्हें समझता हूँ

कभी-कभी हम सोचते हैं कि यीशु हमारे संघर्षों से बहुत दूर खड़े हैं। लेकिन इब्रानियों हमें एक ऐसे महायाजक से मिलाता है जो हमारी दुर्बलताओं को समझता है।

“क्योंकि हमारा ऐसा महायाजक नहीं, जो हमारी निर्बलताओं में हमारे साथ दुःखी न हो सके…”
— इब्रानियों 4:15

यीशु कमजोरी को समझते हैं। वे परीक्षा को समझते हैं। वे दुःख को समझते हैं। वे तिरस्कार को समझते हैं। और क्योंकि वे समझते हैं, इसलिए वे हमारी सहायता करने में समर्थ हैं। 

जब आप कमजोर होते हैं, उनकी भाषा यह नहीं है—“तुम फिर से क्यों गिर गए?”

उनकी भाषा है— “मेरे पास आओ।”

यहाँ दया है। यहाँ अनुग्रह है। यहाँ सहायता है। जिस सिंहासन के पास आपको बुलाया गया है, उसका नाम है— अनुग्रह का सिंहासन।

यीशु की भाषा कहती है: विश्राम करो

हम में से बहुत से लोग जानते हैं कि यीशु ने हमें अनुग्रह से बचाया है। फिर भी हम अपना बाकी जीवन उन चीज़ों को कमाने में लगा देते हैं जो उन्होंने हमें पहले ही दे दी हैं। हम स्वीकृति पाने के लिए मेहनत करते हैं। हम प्रेम पाने के लिए मेहनत करते हैं। हम स्वयं को योग्य सिद्ध करने की कोशिश करते हैं। लेकिन इब्रानियों हमें एक दूसरी भाषा सिखाता है। विश्राम।

“क्योंकि जिसने उसके विश्राम में प्रवेश किया है, उसने भी परमेश्वर के समान अपने कामों को पूरा करके विश्राम किया है।”
— इब्रानियों 4:10

विश्राम का अर्थ निष्क्रिय होना नहीं है। विश्राम का अर्थ है— उस काम को स्वयं पूरा करने की कोशिश छोड़ देना, जिसे यीशु पहले ही पूरा कर चुके हैं।

मैं आज्ञा इसलिए नहीं मानता कि परमेश्वर मुझसे प्रेम करें। मैं आज्ञा मानता हूँ क्योंकि मैं पहले से प्रेम किया गया हूँ।

मैं पवित्रता के पीछे इसलिए नहीं चलता कि यीशु मुझे स्वीकार करें। मैं उनके पीछे चलता हूँ क्योंकि उन्होंने मुझे पहले ही अपने पास बुला लिया है।

मैं आराधना इसलिए नहीं करता कि परमेश्वर को अपने पास बुला सकूँ। मैं आराधना करता हूँ क्योंकि यीशु के द्वारा मुझे पहले ही उनकी उपस्थिति में प्रवेश मिल चुका है।

यीशु की भाषा कहती है— “जो मैंने किया है, उसमें विश्राम करो।”

यीशु की भाषा कहती है: तुम स्वतंत्र हो

इब्रानियों हमें बताता है कि यीशु आए ताकि मृत्यु की सामर्थ्य को नष्ट करें और उन लोगों को छुड़ाएँ—

“…जो मृत्यु के भय के मारे जीवन भर दासत्व में फँसे थे।”
— इब्रानियों 2:15

यीशु ने केवल हमें क्षमा नहीं किया। उन्होंने हमें स्वतंत्र किया। अब डर हमारा स्वामी नहीं है। मृत्यु अंतिम शब्द नहीं बोलती। हमारा अतीत हमारा मालिक नहीं है। यीशु ने स्वतंत्रता का वचन बोल दिया है। अब तुम डर के दास नहीं हो।

यीशु की भाषा कहती है: मैं तुम्हारे लिए विनती कर रहा हूँ

इब्रानियों में एक बहुत ही सांत्वना देने वाला सत्य छिपा है। इसी समय— यीशु आपके लिए विनती कर रहे हैं।

“वह उनके लिए विनती करने को सर्वदा जीवित है।”
— इब्रानियों 7:25

इसके बारे में सोचिए। कई बार आपको पता नहीं होता कि प्रार्थना कैसे करें। कभी आपका विश्वास कमजोर महसूस होता है। कभी ऐसा समय आता है जब आप केवल यीशु का नाम ही ले पाते हैं। लेकिन आपका उद्धार आपकी प्रार्थनाओं की सामर्थ्य पर टिका हुआ नहीं है। आपके पास एक ऐसा महायाजक है जो आपके लिए विनती करना कभी बंद नहीं करता। यीशु केवल वह नहीं हैं जिन्होंने आपको बचाया। वे आज भी पिता के सामने आपके लिए खड़े हैं।

यीशु की भाषा कहती है— “मैं तुम्हारे पक्ष में खड़ा हूँ।” “मैं तुम्हारे लिए विनती कर रहा हूँ।” “मैं तुम्हारा पूर्ण रूप से उद्धार करने में समर्थ हूँ।”

यीशु की भाषा कहती है: मैं तुम्हारे पापों को फिर स्मरण नहीं करूँगा

नई वाचा की सबसे अद्भुत प्रतिज्ञाओं में से एक इब्रानियों में दो बार आती है।

“और मैं उनके पापों को और उनके अधर्म के कामों को फिर कभी स्मरण न करूँगा।”
— इब्रानियों 10:17

हम याद रखते हैं। लोग याद रखते हैं। कभी-कभी हमारा अपना मन हमारी असफलताओं को बार-बार हमारे सामने चलाता रहता है।

लेकिन परमेश्वर कहते हैं— “मैं उन्हें फिर स्मरण नहीं करूँगा।”

इसका अर्थ यह नहीं कि परमेश्वर भूल गए हैं। इसका अर्थ है कि हमारे पापों का न्याय यीशु में पूरी तरह हो चुका है। अब वे हमारे पापों को हमारे विरुद्ध नहीं रखते। दोष लगाने वाली आवाज़ आपके अतीत को बार-बार सामने लाती है। लेकिन नई वाचा की भाषा आपको बार-बार क्रूस की ओर ले जाती है। ऋण चुका दिया गया। बलिदान चढ़ाया जा चुका है। काम पूरा हो चुका है।

और फिर… लहू बोलता है

इब्रानियों हमें एक बहुत गहरे प्रकाशन तक लेकर आता है।

“…और छिड़काव के उस लहू के पास आए हो, जो हाबिल के लहू से उत्तम बातें कहता है।”
— इब्रानियों 12:24

लहू की एक आवाज़ है। हाबिल का लहू भूमि से पुकार रहा था।

लेकिन यीशु का लहू— एक बेहतर वचन बोलता है।

जब दोष लगाने वाली आवाज़ बोलती है— लहू उससे ऊँचा बोलता है।

जब लज्जा बोलती है— लहू उससे ऊँचा बोलता है।

जब आपका अतीत बोलता है— लहू उससे ऊँचा बोलता है।

जब डर कहता है कि आप अकेले हैं— लहू एक बेहतर वचन बोलता है।

यीशु का लहू क्या बोलता है?

शुद्ध।

क्षमा किया हुआ।

पवित्र किया हुआ।

छुड़ाया हुआ।

स्वीकार किया हुआ।

परमेश्वर के निकट लाया हुआ।

मेरा।

प्रश्न यह है—आप किस आवाज़ को सुन रहे हैं?

यीशु की भाषा कहती है: मैं तुम्हें कभी नहीं छोड़ूँगा

इब्रानियों एक ऐसी प्रतिज्ञा के साथ समाप्त होता है जो हमारे जीवन के हर अनिश्चित समय में हमारे साथ खड़ी रहती है।

“मैं तुझे कभी न छोड़ूँगा, और न कभी तुझे त्यागूँगा।”
— इब्रानियों 13:5

केवल तब नहीं जब आप मजबूत हों। केवल तब नहीं जब आपका विश्वास बहुत बड़ा हो। केवल तब नहीं जब सब कुछ ठीक चल रहा हो। कभी नहीं। और इसी कारण हम साहस के साथ कह सकते हैं—

“प्रभु मेरा सहायक है; मैं न डरूँगा।”
— इब्रानियों 13:6

उनकी उपस्थिति हमारी भाषा बदल देती है। 

डर कहता है— “अगर सब कुछ गलत हो गया तो?”

विश्वास कहता है— “प्रभु मेरा सहायक है।”

डर कहता है—“अगर मैं अकेला रह गया तो?”

यीशु कहते हैं—“मैं तुम्हें कभी नहीं छोड़ूँगा।”

शुद्धता से महिमा तक

यही वह सुंदर यात्रा है जो इब्रानियों की पुस्तक हमें दिखाती है। 

यीशु ने हमारे पाप को हटा दिया।

उन्होंने हमें शुद्ध किया।

उन्होंने हमें पवित्र किया।

उन्होंने हमें अपना परिवार कहा।

उन्होंने परमेश्वर की उपस्थिति का मार्ग खोल दिया।

उन्होंने हमें दया और अनुग्रह दिया।

उन्होंने हमें विश्राम में बुलाया।

उन्होंने हमें डर से स्वतंत्र किया।

वे हमारे अनन्त महायाजक बने।

उन्होंने एक बेहतर वाचा स्थापित की।

उनका लहू एक बेहतर वचन बोलता है।

उन्होंने हमें एक अटल आशा दी।

उन्होंने हमें एक अनन्त विरासत दी।

उन्होंने कहा— “मैं तुम्हें कभी नहीं छोड़ूँगा।”

वे हमारे विश्वास के कर्ता और सिद्ध करने वाले बने।

और अब— वे बहुत से पुत्रों और पुत्रियों को महिमा में ले जा रहे हैं। — इब्रानियों 2:10

यही है— यीशु की भाषा।

यह यात्रा इस बात से शुरू नहीं होती कि आपको उनके लिए क्या करना है।

यह शुरू होती है— उससे जो उन्होंने आपके लिए पहले ही कर दिया है।

और यह यात्रा इस बात पर समाप्त नहीं होती कि आप कितनी मजबूती से उन्हें पकड़े हुए हैं।

यह समाप्त होती है उस महान चरवाहे पर— जो आपको पकड़े हुए है। जो आपको तैयार कर रहा है। जो आपके भीतर वह काम कर रहा है जो परमेश्वर को प्रसन्न करता है।

आप किस भाषा के अधीन जी रहे हैं?

हो सकता है कि अब तक आप अपने अतीत की भाषा के अधीन जी रहे हों। यीशु एक बेहतर वचन बोल रहे हैं।

हो सकता है कि आप लज्जा की भाषा के अधीन जी रहे हों। उनका लहू एक बेहतर वचन बोल रहा है।

हो सकता है कि डर आपके भविष्य की कहानी लिख रहा हो। यीशु एक बेहतर वचन बोल रहे हैं।

हो सकता है कि आपने वर्षों तक परमेश्वर की स्वीकृति कमाने की कोशिश की हो। पुत्र एक बेहतर वचन बोल रहा है।

आज सुनिए कि वे आपके ऊपर क्या बोल रहे हैं—

तुम शुद्ध किए गए हो।

तुम पवित्र किए गए हो।

तुम मेरे हो।

मेरे पास आओ।

अनुग्रह प्राप्त करो।

मेरे विश्राम में प्रवेश करो।

तुम स्वतंत्र हो।

मैं तुम्हारे लिए विनती कर रहा हूँ।

मैं तुम्हारे पापों को फिर स्मरण नहीं करूँगा।

मेरा लहू तुम्हारे पक्ष में बोल रहा है।

तुम्हारी आशा अटल है।

तुम एक ऐसा राज्य पा रहे हो जो कभी हिलाया नहीं जा सकता।

मैं तुम्हें कभी नहीं छोड़ूँगा।

मैं तुम्हें कभी नहीं त्यागूँगा।

अपनी आँखें मुझ पर लगाए रखो।

मैं तुम्हें महिमा की ओर ले जा रहा हूँ।

आपके जीवन के ऊपर बोलने के लिए हमेशा बहुत-सी आवाज़ें होंगी। लेकिन एक आवाज़ ऐसी है जिसके पास स्वर्ग का अधिकार है। एक बलिदान है जिसने हमेशा के लिए सब कुछ पूरा कर दिया। एक लहू है जो आज भी बोल रहा है।और वह बोल रहा है— एक बेहतर वचन।

What Is the Son Speaking Over You?

There are many voices speaking over our lives.

The voice of our past. The voice of our failures. The voice of people. The voice of fear. The voice that says, “You are not enough.” 

The voice that reminds us of everything we have done wrong. And sometimes, without even realizing it, we begin to live according to the language we hear the most.

But the book of Hebrews introduces us to another language "The language of the Son".

Hebrews begins with these powerful words:

“In these last days He has spoken to us by His Son…”
— Hebrews 1:2

God has spoken. And His final, fullest revelation is found in His Son — Jesus. Jesus did not simply come to bring us another message from God. Jesus is the message of God revealed to us.

His life speaks. His cross speaks. His resurrection speaks. His position at the right hand of the Father speaks. His priesthood speaks. And according to Hebrews 12:24 — His blood still speaks.

So the question is not only:

“What am I saying about myself?”

The greater question is:

“What is Jesus saying about me?”

THE FIRST LANGUAGE OF THE SON: YOU ARE CLEANSED

Hebrews introduces Jesus with something already accomplished.

“After He had provided purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.”
— Hebrews 1:3

Notice the language. He did not say He began the purification. He did not say He would try to purify us. He did not leave the work unfinished. He accomplished purification for sins.

And then— He sat down.

Under the Old Covenant, the work of the priests continued because sacrifices had to be offered again and again. But Jesus offered Himself. Once and For all. And then He sat down. The seated Christ is a picture of a finished work.

Perhaps you are still speaking the language of your sin.

But Jesus is speaking the language of cleansing.

You say, “Look at what I have done.”

Jesus says, “Look at what I have done.”

You may say, “I am stained.”

His blood says, “You are cleansed.”

The language of Jesus does not begin with your performance. It begins with His finished work.

THE LANGUAGE OF JESUS SAYS: COME NEAR

Sin created distance. But Jesus removed the distance. Hebrews tells us:

“Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus…”
— Hebrews 10:19

Think about those words "Confidence to enter."

The place where humanity could not freely enter has now been opened through Jesus. The veil has been torn. The way has been opened. The blood has been shed. And now the language of Jesus is not: “Stay away.” He says:  “Come near.”

Hebrews 4:16 says:

“Let us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence…”

Not crawling. Not hiding. Not wondering whether God will receive us. but With confidence.

Why? Because our confidence is not in how well we performed today. Our confidence is in Who our High Priest is.

Jesus has opened a new and living way. And through Him, we have access to the Father.

The language of religion says: “Do enough, and perhaps you can come closer.”

The language of Jesus says: “I have done enough. Come near.”

THE LANGUAGE OF JESUS SAYS: I AM NOT ASHAMED OF YOU

Some people believe Jesus forgives them but is still disappointed to be associated with them. But Hebrews reveals something astonishing.

“Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers and sisters.”
— Hebrews 2:11

Read that again. He is not ashamed of you.

The One seated at the right hand of Majesty calls you family. He does not reluctantly tolerate you. He identifies Himself with you. He calls you His own.

Shame says: “Hide.”

Jesus says: “You belong.”

Shame says: “God doesn't want to be associated with someone like you.”

Jesus says: “I am not ashamed to call you Mine.”

This is the language of the Son.

THE LANGUAGE OF JESUS SAYS: I UNDERSTAND

Sometimes we imagine Jesus standing far away from our struggles. But Hebrews reveals a High Priest who understands.

“For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses…”
— Hebrews 4:15

Jesus understands weakness. He understands temptation. He understands suffering. He understands rejection. And because He understands, Hebrews tells us that He is able to help those who are being tempted.

When you are weak, His language is not: “Why are you struggling again?”

His language is: “Come to Me.”

There is mercy. There is grace. There is help. The throne you are approaching is called— the throne of grace.

THE LANGUAGE OF JESUS SAYS: REST

Many of us know that Jesus saved us by grace, yet we spend the rest of our lives trying to earn what He has already given. We work for acceptance. We work for approval. We work to prove ourselves. But Hebrews introduces another language "Rest."

“For anyone "who enters God's rest also rests from their works…”
— Hebrews 4:10

Rest does not mean inactivity. It means we stop trying to accomplish what Jesus has already accomplished. I don't obey so that I can become loved. I obey because I am loved.

I don't pursue holiness so that Jesus will accept me. I pursue Him because I have already been brought near.

I don't worship to convince God to come. I worship because through Jesus, I already have access to His presence.

The language of Jesus says: “Rest in what I have done.”

THE LANGUAGE OF JESUS SAYS: YOU ARE FREE

Hebrews tells us that Jesus came to destroy the power of death and:

“…free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.”
— Hebrews 2:15

Jesus did not simply forgive us. He liberated us. Fear is no longer our master. Death does not have the final word. Our past does not own us. Jesus has spoken freedom. The language of the Son is the language of liberation. You don't belong to fear anymore.

THE LANGUAGE OF JESUS SAYS: I AM PRAYING FOR YOU

There is something incredibly comforting hidden in Hebrews. Right now— Jesus is interceding for you.

“He always lives to intercede for them.”
— Hebrews 7:25

Think about that. You may have moments when you don't know how to pray. You may have days when your faith feels weak. You may have seasons when all you can do is whisper His name. But your salvation is not being held together by the strength of your prayers.

You have a High Priest who never stops interceding. Jesus is not only the One who saved you. He is the One who continually represents you before the Father.

The language of Jesus says: “I am standing for you.” “I am interceding for you.” “I am able to save you completely.”

THE LANGUAGE OF JESUS SAYS: YOUR SINS I REMEMBER NO MORE

One of the most extraordinary promises of the New Covenant appears twice in Hebrews.

“Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.”
— Hebrews 10:17

We remember. People remember. Sometimes our own minds replay our failures repeatedly.

But God says: “I will remember them no more.”

This does not mean God has a memory problem. It means He has chosen not to hold our sins against us because they have been dealt with completely in Jesus. The language of accusation keeps bringing up your past. The language of the New Covenant points you to the cross. The debt has been paid. The sacrifice has been offered. The work is finished.

AND THEN… THE BLOOD SPEAKS

Hebrews brings us to one of its most powerful revelations.

“…to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.”
— Hebrews 12:24

Blood has a voice. Abel's blood cried out from the ground. But Jesus' blood speaks— a better word.

When accusation speaks, the blood speaks louder.

When shame speaks, the blood speaks louder.

When your past speaks, the blood speaks louder.

When fear tells you that you are alone, the blood speaks a better word.

What does the blood of Jesus speak?

You are Cleansed.

You are Forgiven.

You are Sanctified.

You are Redeemed.

You are Accepted.

You are Brought near.

You are Mine.

The question is:

Which voice are you listening to?

THE LANGUAGE OF JESUS SAYS: I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU

Hebrews ends with a promise that reaches into every uncertain season of our lives.

“Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”
— Hebrews 13:5

Not when you are strong. Not only when your faith is perfect. Not only when everything is going well. Never.

And because of this, we can say:

“The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.”
— Hebrews 13:6

His presence changes our language.

Fear says: “What if everything goes wrong?”

Faith says: “The Lord is my Helper.”

Fear says: “What if I am left alone?”

Jesus says: “I will never leave you.”

FROM CLEANSING TO GLORY

This is the beautiful journey Hebrews reveals.

Jesus removed our sin.

He cleansed us.

He sanctified us.

He called us His family.

He opened the way into God's presence.

He gave us grace and mercy.

He invited us into rest.

He freed us from fear.

He became our eternal High Priest.

He established a better covenant.

His blood speaks a better word.

He gave us an unshakable hope.

He promised an eternal inheritance.

He said, “I will never leave you.”

He became the Author and Perfecter of our faith.

And now—

He is bringing many sons and daughters to glory.

— Hebrews 2:10

This is the language of Jesus. The journey does not begin with what you must do for Him. It begins with what He has already done for you. And it does not end with you desperately trying to hold onto Him. It ends with the Great Shepherd holding you, equipping you, and working within you what is pleasing to God.

WHAT LANGUAGE ARE YOU LIVING UNDER?

Maybe you have been living under the language of your past. Jesus is speaking a better word.

Maybe you have been living under the language of shame. His blood is speaking a better word.

Maybe fear has been narrating your future. Jesus is speaking a better word.

Maybe you have spent years trying to earn God's acceptance. The Son is speaking a better word.

Today, hear His language over you:

You are cleansed.

You are sanctified.

You are Mine.

Come near.

Receive grace.

Enter My rest.

You are free.

I am interceding for you.

Your sins I remember no more.

My blood speaks for you.

Your hope is anchored.

You are receiving an unshakable Kingdom.

I will never leave you.

I will never forsake you.

Keep your eyes on Me.

I am leading you to glory.

There will always be many voices competing to speak over your life. But there is one voice that carries the authority of heaven. There is one sacrifice that settled the matter forever. There is one blood that continues to speak. And it speaks— A BETTER WORD.

जब उम्र बढ़ने लगती है: बुढ़ापे की अनकही परेशानियाँ और बाइबल से मिलने वाली आशा

उम्र बढ़ना परमेश्वर का दिया हुआ एक उपहार है। लेकिन इसके साथ कुछ ऐसी परेशानियाँ भी आती हैं जिनके बारे में लोग अक्सर खुलकर बात नहीं करते। जब हम जवान होते हैं, तो भविष्य के सपने देखते हैं। लेकिन जैसे-जैसे उम्र बढ़ती है, हमारा शरीर बदलने लगता है, हमारी दिनचर्या बदल जाती है, रिश्तों में बदलाव आता है, और मन में नए-नए सवाल उठने लगते हैं।

बहुत से बुज़ुर्ग मन ही मन सोचते हैं—

"क्या अब भी मेरी कोई कीमत है?"

"मेरा शरीर पहले जैसा क्यों नहीं रहा?"

"क्या लोग मुझे भूल गए हैं?"

"क्या मेरी ज़िंदगी के अच्छे दिन अब खत्म हो गए?"

सबसे अच्छी बात यह है कि बाइबल इन सवालों को नज़रअंदाज़ नहीं करती। परमेश्वर हर उम्र के लोगों से प्रेम करता है। बाइबल में हम देखते हैं कि उसने बहुत से लोगों को उनकी वृद्धावस्था में भी बड़े कामों के लिए इस्तेमाल किया। आइए देखें कि बुढ़ापे में आने वाली कुछ सामान्य परेशानियों का परमेश्वर के वचन में क्या उत्तर है।

1. "मेरा शरीर पहले जैसा नहीं रहा।"

अब जल्दी थक जाता हूँ। घुटनों में दर्द रहता है। सीढ़ियाँ चढ़ना मुश्किल लगता है। पहले जो काम आसानी से कर लेता था, अब उसमें ज़्यादा समय और मेहनत लगती है। कई बार आईने में खुद को देखकर लगता है कि मैं बदल गया हूँ।

उम्र बढ़ने के साथ शरीर में कई बदलाव आते हैं—मांसपेशियाँ कमजोर होना, जोड़ों का दर्द, कम दिखाई देना, कम सुनाई देना, शरीर का संतुलन कम होना और जल्दी थक जाना। लेकिन परमेश्वर ने कभी किसी की कीमत उसके शरीर की ताकत से नहीं आँकी। बाइबल में लिखा है:

"मेरा अनुग्रह तेरे लिये बहुत है, क्योंकि मेरी सामर्थ निर्बलता में सिद्ध होती है।" (2 कुरिन्थियों 12:9)

जहाँ हमारी ताकत खत्म होती है, वहीं परमेश्वर की सामर्थ दिखाई देने लगती है। मूसा को याद कीजिए। लगभग अस्सी वर्ष की उम्र में परमेश्वर ने उसे इस्राएल की पूरी प्रजा को मिस्र से निकालने का काम दिया। मूसा ने अपनी कमजोरी देखी। परमेश्वर ने उसकी बुलाहट देखी। आपकी उम्र बढ़ सकती है, लेकिन परमेश्वर की योजना आपके लिए कभी बूढ़ी नहीं होती।

2. "मुझे लगता है कि लोग मुझे भूल गए हैं।"

बच्चे अपनी ज़िंदगी में व्यस्त हैं। पुराने दोस्त अब साथ नहीं रहे। कोई मेरी सलाह नहीं पूछता। कई बार ऐसा लगता है कि मैं किसी के लिए महत्वपूर्ण नहीं हूँ। 

अकेलापन बुढ़ापे की सबसे बड़ी परेशानियों में से एक है। लेकिन परमेश्वर कहता है:

"तुम्हारे बुढ़ापे तक मैं वही हूँ... मैं तुम्हें संभालूँगा और उठाए रखूँगा।" (यशायाह 46:4)

हो सकता है लोग दूर हो जाएँ। लेकिन परमेश्वर कभी दूर नहीं होता। हन्ना (अन्ना) कई वर्षों तक मंदिर में परमेश्वर की सेवा करती रही। लोग शायद उसे न जानते हों, लेकिन परमेश्वर ने उसे सबसे पहले बालक यीशु को पहचानने का सम्मान दिया। परमेश्वर कभी अपने बच्चों को नहीं भूलता।

3. "मुझे भविष्य की चिंता होती है।"

अगर मैं बीमार हो गया तो? अगर मैं किसी पर निर्भर हो गया तो? मेरी देखभाल कौन करेगा? क्या मैं अपने परिवार पर बोझ बन जाऊँगा?

ऐसे प्रश्न बहुत स्वाभाविक हैं। लेकिन भजन संहिता 23 हमें याद दिलाती है कि परमेश्वर हमारा चरवाहा है। वह जीवन के हर मौसम में हमारे साथ चलता है। इब्राहीम की उम्र बहुत अधिक हो चुकी थी, फिर भी परमेश्वर ने अपना वादा पूरा किया। जब परमेश्वर कुछ ठान लेता है, तब उम्र कभी बाधा नहीं बनती।

4."अब मेरी याददाश्त पहले जैसी नहीं रही।"

नाम भूल जाता हूँ। एक ही बात बार-बार कह देता हूँ। कभी-कभी याद ही नहीं रहता कि किसी कमरे में क्यों आया था। यह सब मुझे परेशान करता है।

लेकिन परमेश्वर का प्रेम हमारी याददाश्त पर निर्भर नहीं है। वह कहता है:

"देख, मैंने तुझे अपनी हथेलियों पर अंकित कर रखा है।" (यशायाह 49:16)

हम भूल सकते हैं। परमेश्वर कभी नहीं भूलता।

5. "मुझे अपना पुराना जीवन याद आता है।"

मुझे अपने जीवनसाथी की याद आती है। बच्चों के साथ बिताए दिन याद आते हैं। अपना काम याद आता है। मुझे वह समय याद आता है जब लोग मेरी ज़रूरत महसूस करते थे। उम्र बढ़ने के साथ कई तरह के नुकसान भी आते हैं।

नाओमी ने भी अपने पति और बेटों को खो दिया था। उसे लगा कि अब उसके जीवन में कुछ नहीं बचा। लेकिन परमेश्वर ने उसकी कहानी वहीं खत्म नहीं होने दी। रूत के द्वारा उसने नाओमी को नया परिवार, नई आशा और नया भविष्य दिया। परमेश्वर आज भी टूटी हुई कहानियों को सुंदर बना सकता है।

6. "अब मैं किसी काम का नहीं रहा।"

रिटायरमेंट के बाद कई लोगों को लगता है कि उनकी ज़रूरत खत्म हो गई। लेकिन बाइबल कहती है:

"वे बुढ़ापे में भी फल लाते रहेंगे।" (भजन संहिता 92:14)

ध्यान दीजिए— बाइबल यह नहीं कहती कि उन्होंने कभी फल लाया था। वह कहती है कि वे आज भी फल लाएँगे। कालेब पचासी वर्ष की उम्र में भी आराम नहीं चाहता था। 

उसने कहा, "मुझे वह पहाड़ी प्रदेश दे।" विश्वास कभी बूढ़ा नहीं होता।

7. "मुझे अपने जीवन की गलतियों का पछतावा होता है।"

काश मैंने ऐसा न किया होता। काश मैंने परमेश्वर पर पहले भरोसा किया होता। काश मैंने अपने परिवार के साथ और समय बिताया होता। पछतावा इंसान को अंदर से तोड़ सकता है। लेकिन यीशु टूटे हुए जीवन को फिर से बना सकता है।

पतरस ने यीशु का तीन बार इनकार किया। फिर भी यीशु ने उसे क्षमा किया और बड़ी ज़िम्मेदारी दी। परमेश्वर हमारे अतीत से बड़ा है।

8."मुझे मृत्यु से डर लगता है।"

जैसे-जैसे उम्र बढ़ती है, मृत्यु का विचार अधिक वास्तविक लगने लगता है।

लेकिन यीशु ने कहा:

"मैं पुनरुत्थान और जीवन हूँ; जो मुझ पर विश्वास करता है वह यदि मर भी जाए, तौभी जीवित रहेगा।" (यूहन्ना 11:25)

विश्वासी के लिए मृत्यु अंत नहीं, बल्कि परमेश्वर के साथ अनन्त जीवन की शुरुआत है।

9."परमेश्वर ने मुझे अभी तक क्यों जीवित रखा है?"

कई बुज़ुर्ग यह प्रश्न पूछते हैं। लेकिन भजन संहिता 71 इसका सुंदर उत्तर देती है:

"जब मैं बूढ़ा और सफेद बालों वाला हो जाऊँ, तब भी मुझे न छोड़ना, जब तक मैं अगली पीढ़ी को तेरी सामर्थ का वर्णन न कर दूँ।"

शायद आपका सबसे बड़ा काम अब लोगों को परमेश्वर के बारे में बताना है। आपका अनुभव किसी युवा के जीवन को बदल सकता है।

10. परमेश्वर की नज़र में बुढ़ापा

दुनिया कहती है कि उम्र बढ़ने के साथ इंसान की कीमत कम हो जाती है। लेकिन बाइबल ऐसा नहीं कहती। बाइबल बताती है कि धर्मी व्यक्ति के सफेद बाल सम्मान का मुकुट हैं (नीतिवचन 16:31)।

बुज़ुर्गों को अगली पीढ़ी को सिखाने, प्रोत्साहित करने और विश्वास में मजबूत करने की ज़िम्मेदारी दी गई है (तीतुस 2:2–5)।

मूसा, इब्राहीम, सारा, कालेब, हन्ना, शमौन और प्रेरित यूहन्ना—इन सभी ने अपने जीवन के अंतिम वर्षों में भी परमेश्वर की महिमा के लिए महान कार्य किए। उम्र बढ़ने से परमेश्वर की योजना समाप्त नहीं होती।

यदि आपको लगता है कि आपकी उम्र बढ़ रही है और आपके अच्छे दिन बीत गए हैं, तो परमेश्वर का यह वादा याद रखिए— आपका शरीर कमजोर हो सकता है, लेकिन परमेश्वर की शक्ति कभी कमजोर नहीं होती। लोग आपको भूल सकते हैं,

लेकिन परमेश्वर आपको कभी नहीं भूलता। आपकी जिम्मेदारियाँ बदल सकती हैं, लेकिन आपका उद्देश्य अभी भी जीवित है। आप केवल बूढ़े नहीं हो रहे हैं। यदि आप परमेश्वर के साथ चल रहे हैं, तो आप हर दिन और अधिक बुद्धिमान, परिपक्व, फलवन्त और अनन्त जीवन के लिए तैयार हो रहे हैं।

परमेश्वर आज भी कहता है: "तुम्हारे बुढ़ापे तक मैं वही हूँ... मैं तुम्हें संभालूँगा, उठाए रखूँगा और बचाऊँगा।" —यशायाह 46:4

When Growing Older Feels Hard: The Silent Struggles of Aging and How the Bible Brings Hope

Growing older is a gift, yet it often comes with silent battles that many people rarely talk about.

When we are young, we dream about the future. As the years pass, however, our bodies change, our routines shift, our relationships evolve, and our minds begin asking different questions.

Many older adults quietly wonder:

"Do I still matter?"

"Why is my body failing me?"

"Will anyone remember me?"

"Has my best season already passed?"

The beautiful truth is that the Bible never ignores these questions. Throughout Scripture, God continually meets people in their later years, reminding us that our value has never depended on our age, strength, or productivity. Instead, our worth has always been found in Him.

Let's walk through some of the common struggles that come with aging—and discover how God's Word speaks healing into each one.

1. "My body isn't what it used to be."

I wake up feeling stiff. My knees hurt when I climb stairs. I get tired much faster than before. Simple tasks now require more effort. Sometimes I look in the mirror and barely recognize the person looking back.

Physical aging can bring weaker muscles, joint pain, slower healing, reduced balance, declining eyesight, hearing loss, and chronic fatigue. While these changes are natural, they can quietly affect confidence and self-worth.

Yet God has never measured people by the strength of their bodies.

The Apostle Paul heard these words from the Lord:

"My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness." (2 Corinthians 12:9)

What feels like weakness to us becomes a place where God's strength is displayed.

Think about Moses. At eighty years old, when most people would have expected retirement, God called him to lead an entire nation out of Egypt. Moses saw his limitations. God saw His purpose. Your body may be changing, but God's calling over your life has not expired.

2. "I feel forgotten."

My children are busy with their own lives. Friends have moved away or passed on. People rarely ask for my opinion anymore. Sometimes I feel invisible.

Loneliness has become one of the greatest emotional challenges of old age. As social circles become smaller, many older adults begin questioning whether they still matter. Yet God speaks directly into this fear:

"Even to your old age and gray hairs I am He... I will sustain you." (Isaiah 46:4)

People may become distant. God never does. Anna, an elderly widow, spent decades serving quietly in the Temple. She was not famous, influential, or surrounded by crowds. But when Jesus was brought into the Temple as a child, God chose Anna to recognize the Messiah before many others. While others may overlook us, Heaven never does.

3. "I worry about the future."

What if I become sick? Who will take care of me? Will I become a burden? What if I lose my independence? These questions are common as people grow older. The future can begin to feel uncertain.

Psalm 23 reminds us that our Shepherd never stops leading His sheep. Even in the valleys of aging, weakness, illness, and uncertainty, His presence remains constant. Abraham waited decades for God's promise. Humanly speaking, his future seemed impossible. Yet God fulfilled every promise in His perfect time. Growing older never limits God's ability to write new chapters.

4. "My memory isn't as sharp."

I forget names. I repeat stories. I walk into a room and forget why I came. Sometimes it embarrasses me. Mental changes can create anxiety, especially when memory begins to decline.

Yet Scripture reminds us of something beautiful. God never says He loves us because our minds are perfect. Instead, He says,

"See, I have engraved you on the palms of My hands." (Isaiah 49:16)

Even when our memories fail, His memory never does. Our identity rests safely in the One who never forgets us.

5. "I miss the life I once had."

I miss my spouse. I miss raising children. I miss working. I miss feeling needed. Aging often brings grief—not only because of loss, but because life looks so different from what it once was.

Naomi knew this feeling well. She lost her husband, her sons, and every dream she had imagined for her future. She even asked others to stop calling her Naomi and instead call her "Mara," meaning "bitter." But God wasn't finished. Through Ruth, He restored hope, family, and purpose. Your story may have painful chapters, but God still knows how to write beautiful endings.

6. "I don't feel useful anymore."

Retirement can sometimes feel like losing purpose. The phone rings less. Responsibilities disappear. People no longer depend on me. Without realizing it, many begin believing the lie that usefulness belongs only to the young.

But Psalm 92 declares something completely different:

"They will still bear fruit in old age."

Notice that Scripture doesn't say they once bore fruit. It says they still bear fruit.

Caleb understood this. At eighty-five years old, he wasn't asking for comfort. He asked for a mountain to conquer. Faith doesn't retire simply because we do.

7. "I carry regrets."

I wish I had made different decisions. I wish I had spent more time with my family. I wish I had trusted God sooner.

As people age, reflection often brings regret. Yet the gospel is a story of redemption.

Peter denied Jesus three times. He thought his failure had ended everything. Instead, Jesus restored him and entrusted him with leading the early church. God specializes in restoring broken stories. No season of life is too late for His grace.

8. "I am afraid of death."

This may be the deepest fear many people carry. As funerals become more frequent and the body grows weaker, eternity feels closer than ever before.

But Jesus transforms death from an ending into a beginning.

He declared:

"I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me, though he die, yet shall he live." (John 11:25)

Simeon waited faithfully for years with one promise—that he would see the Messiah before he died. When he finally held the infant Jesus, he said,

"Now let Your servant depart in peace."

His peace did not come from knowing how much time he had left. It came from knowing the One who held eternity.

9. "Why has God left me here?"

Many older believers quietly ask,

"If my work is finished, why am I still here?"

Psalm 71 gives a powerful answer:

"Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, till I declare Your power to the next generation."

Every season has purpose. Perhaps your greatest ministry is not building a career, but building people. Perhaps your wisdom is exactly what the next generation needs.

John, the last surviving apostle, received the vision recorded in Revelation during his later years. Some of God's greatest work through our lives happens after the world assumes we're finished.

10. God's View of Aging Is Different

Our culture often celebrates youth, speed, beauty, and productivity. As these begin to fade, people may feel that their value fades too. But the Bible paints a very different picture.

Gray hair is described as a crown of splendor when found in a life of righteousness (Proverbs 16:31).

Older men and women are called to teach, encourage, disciple, and strengthen younger generations (Titus 2:2–5).

God consistently entrusted significant assignments to people in the later seasons of life—Moses, Abraham, Sarah, Caleb, Anna, Simeon, and John all remind us that age has never been a barrier to His purposes.

The world may measure life by physical strength. God measures it by faithfulness. 

If you are growing older and wondering whether your best years are behind you, remember this:Your body may weaken, but God's strength never does. Your memory may fade, but God never forgets you. People may overlook you, but Heaven knows your name. Your responsibilities may change, but your purpose remains. Your appearance may age, but your identity in Christ is eternal.

Growing older is not the story of becoming less. For those who walk with God, it is the story of becoming deeper, wiser, more fruitful, and more prepared for eternity.

You are not simply growing old. You are growing closer to the One who has promised,

"Even to your old age and gray hairs I am He... I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you." — Isaiah 46:4
